Who
Deal Baker Ltd is the chambers. Mykola Vorobiov is the counsel you instruct. The company exists so you can contract, insure, invoice, onboard and outlive the engagement — not so you can imagine a floor of engineers.
I run delivery for Deal Baker Ltd. I am in the buyer meeting and I am in the client meeting, and I am the person who builds the thing afterwards. There is no account layer between the conversation and the work, because there is nobody to put there.
What the company is for
A limited company is what makes an engagement procurable. It is a counterparty I can contract through, invoice through, onboard through a supplier questionnaire, and — the part that matters most and gets said least — that outlives me. I am not any of those things on my own. Deal Baker Ltd is one engineer: me, and I sign for it under written authority from its director. That is the whole reason the company exists, and it is the only thing it is asking you to believe.
The facts a finance function asks for are on the procurement register; what happens if the person behind the company stops is on the continuity page.
What it refuses to pretend
One named engineer per engagement. Nobody works on your system without you being told first — no silent substitution, no juniors on your budget. If a specialist is ever needed you get told who, before it happens, and you can say no. That is Term 1 — Provenance, and it is the entire staffing model: the engineer who starts the engagement is the engineer who finishes it.
On AI
AI is a tool I operate, not a subcontractor I hide. One person is accountable for every line regardless of what typed it.
The accountability is the point. A tool that writes code does not change who answers for it, and the answer is the same name on every page of this site.
